Jammin' John English has been inducted into the AEA Hall of Fame.
Jammin' John English was inducted into the AEA Hall of Fame on December 1, 2016, he was a first ballot inductee. He is the first official member of the AEA Hall of Fame.
John has one SPC championship to his credit. He was a winner of the B Bracket at SPCVI with Bob's Bar. John's involvement reached much further than that of just an annual competitor. He jumped in where he could to help out at these events. John played in many tournaments and assisted with the Silver Puck Challenge from 2005-2013. John also suggested, developed and delivered the 30+ Bracket to the Silver Puck Challenge world.
Jammin' John was taken too soon from us, but he will live forever in us and the spirit of the Silver Puck Challenge. After his passing in 2013 the 30+ Bracket had an official name change, it is now known as the "John English Memorial Cup" or "JEMC" for short.

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years.
