Silver Puck Challenge XIII - Waiver Wire

Silver Puck Challenge XIII update - AEA Waiver Wire, Rooster Cup Logo, Schedule of Events, SPC Tournament Team Needs, SPCXIII Shirt Orders, AEA Salary Cap and AEA Glossary.

As the Silver Puck Challenge tournament has grown in popularity over the years, we have done our best to make sure that anyone that wanted to participate . . . could. We have historically had 'house teams' to even out/fill brackets. House teams will be filled in the week prior to the tournament's start. We want to give captains the opportunity to put in a full team to play/compete together first. If you would like to play in the Silver Puck Challenge and DO NOT have a team, you can add your name to the list of 'Free Agents' on our 'AEA Waiver Wire' and you can be picked up from other teams in the SPC or placed on a house team.

The AEA Waiver Wire could also be a great way for anyone that has moved to the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area to make new connections and be asked to join in on a team for future leagues.

Below you will also find the official logo of the SPC COED Bracket . . . in remembrance of Dave "Rooster" Rue, a longtime official and friend of the SPC and hockey community, we will honor him annually at the SPC. The Rooster Cup and JEMC (John English Memorial Cup) will forever be held during the second weekend of the Silver Puck Challenge.

Below you will find the complete schedule of events for the Silver Puck Challenge tournament.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this years Hockey Hold'em II tournament. We had a blast and survived the tornado that hit west Michigan.

Brad DeVries says:
" Awesome tournament/ice! I know you guys want the ice perfect but that's about as good as it gets for pond hockey. "
