Hockey Hold'em III registration is now open to the public (male & female players accepted). If you would like to register for this year's event please be sure you have registered on our web site first, then you will be allowed to register for this specific event and get your deposit in!

Hockey Hold'em is a unique hockey experience. You sign up as an individual, we'll draft you onto teams, you will then gamble on your team's success . . . only the individuals with the most chips will make it to Championship Sunday. The full details of Hockey Hold'em can be found on our event page. At this time we only have about 25 spots available and none of them are open to goalies (we are full their). Feel free to invite your teammates to join the event.

Hockey Hold'em has it's set of rules . . . first of all . . . the event will be played by the same set of rules as Silver Puck Challenge, then we add the twist. Everyone will play by all the general rules, we are not applying any of the "COED" rules from the SPC. These games will be played as one of round robin, regulated SPC game . . . with that being said . . . we have a few fun changes to the event. We have rules like; Lady Luck, Lucky 7's, Cowboy Up, Aces Wild and the recently added Split the Pot rule. Visit our Hockey Hold'em Rules page for more details.

This year we have quite a few players we would like to highlight for the event; Rani Vitali (our oldest AEA champion, LOL) and Craig Fulco (3 time AEA champion), both of which have won back-to-back Hockey Hold'em tournaments. Both participants won Hockey Hold'em I in its inaugural year, then they both came back and successfully defended their Kegger Cup championships by winning Hockey Hold'em II. They both have decided to come back for Hockey Hold'em III . . . The only question that remains is . . . Will they make Hockey Hold'em history and win a third championship?

We also have some players going for AEA immortality . . . Zach Feldt, Mo Squiers and James Bond are already registered into Hockey Hold'em III, they are all on a quest to win the Kegger Cup. With a Hockey Hold'em III championship they will join the ranks of those that have won all there is to win from AEA. Each of them have won a Silver Puck Challenge championship and a Dekes & Dangles title. They only championship that eludes their fingers is the one and only . . . Kegger Cup.

Here is the current list of AEA Champions that are on the journey to be All Around Champions:

  • Adam Copeland (SPCIX, HHI)
  • Annie Devaney (SPCII, HHII)
  • Brant Morgan (SPCIII, HHI)
  • Caitlin Harrison (SPCIX, HHI)
  • Craig Fulco (SPCXIII, HHI)
  • James Bond (SPCXIII, DDI)
  • Jon Siterlet (SPCXII, HHII)
