#1 | Neil Roelofs has become an AEA All Around Champion.
neil roelofsNeil Roelofs is the first participant to win a title in each of the tournaments on the An Edge Above tournament circuit. With his win at Hockey Hold'em II on August 21st, 2016 he became the first player to complete the trifecta. Neil won his first Silver Puck Challenge title on June 14th, 2015 at Silver Puck Challenge XI (Rooster Cup). He could have won his first Silver Puck Challenge championship in 2013, but with an "alarm clock" issue he watched from the sidelines. His team would end up winning the COED Bracket in overtime without him. He then won a Dekes & Dangles COED championship on February 13th, 2016 in the inaugural tournament event.
After his Hockey Hold'em win; we realized that he was the first to earn a title in each of our tournaments and the AEA All Around Champion award was coined.
Neil was the sole AEA All Around Champion for a total of 503 days.

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years.
