Adam Lussier has been inducted into the AEA Hall of Fame.
adam lussierAdam has been playing in the AEA since 2015. He joined VanDam in the Rooster Cup at Silver Puck Challenge XI (2015) where he won in his first year AEA title. It was a 2-1 victory over annual powerhouse BLB. Adam would follow up his SPCXI title with his first Hockey Hold'em championship in 2016. At Hockey Hold'em II (2016), Adam would lock the doors and would claim the overtime win 5-4. Now with two (2) titles in his pocket, he would look to build on his early success in the AEA. In 2017 he would add another Rooster Cup championship notch to the headboard. This would be a 3-1 victory over annual contenders Jabackass. Adam would captain his own team for Silver Puck Challenge XIV and win the Potter Cup (C) in 2018. Between these two SPC titles, Adam would raise the Kegger Cup for the world to see at Hockey Hold'em III (2017) with a 5-2 victory over the opposing squad. Adam was the first goalie to win back-to-back Hockey Hold'em championships.
At Silver Puck Challenge XVI in the COVID-19/politically fueled year of 2020, Adam would play every weekend of the tournament, compiling 27 games in those nine (9) weeks. He rounded off the SPCXVI tournament season with a weekend at Hockey Hold'em VI. Adam played for the following teams; Crown Jewels (Jonkman Cup (B), VanValkenburg Cup (B+), Morgan Cup (40+), Bad Day Industries (JEMC, 30+), Hockeybots (Potter Cup, C), VanDam (Rooster Cup (CCOED), Cosmic Candy (Petter-Kellogg Cup (RCOED).
Adam is known for his hockey community building at our events. When he's not playing backstop you can find him at his RV serving up grub and pops to other participants. His door is always open to making everyone feel welcome.

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years. Established in 2005, we have delivered some of the most competitive and unique tournament formats to the state. Our goal is to insure that all teams have the same opportunities to compete and win.
