Zach Grover has been inducted into the AEA Hall of Fame
zach groverZach has been playing in the AEA since 2011. He started his AEA career with SPC in the VanValkenburg Cup (B+) where he would collect his first of six (6) Silver Puck Challenge titles with a 5-0 win over WIFC. Zach would return to the championship circle in 2014, with another SPC win. This time it would be a 5-2 win over Speaker City. He would collect his third cup versus Red, White & Brew at Silver Puck Challenge XV (2019) with a final score of 6-2.
There would be a contract dispute that would have Zach joining The Benchwarmers in 2020. Zach would win two (2) cups with his new squad at SPCXVI & SPCXVII; both wins would be over his former team. Winning in 2020 with a 4-0 tally and 2-1 grinder in 2021. Also at Silver Puck Challenge XVII, Zach would win his first JEMC (30+) title with The Has Beens with a 4-1 win over the Hatrick Swayze. His six (6) Silver Puck Challenge titles he is currently tied for most titles in this tournament.
Zach would find his way to the pond at FTK Ice Center in 2021; and he would play in his first Dekes & Dangles tournament. He would play twice with two different SPC squads. He would collect his first D&D crest at Dekes & Dangles VI with a 12-8 victory over Super Mario & His Bros. in the A Bracket. His next D&D title would come in the 30+ Bracket during the same tournament season. The 30+ championship would come with a 15-6 win over What Did You Say.
Zach now looks to add a Kegger Cup/Hockey Hold'em championship to the trophy case and become an AEA All Around Champion.
